ACTION ALERT: Tell City Council to Pass Resolution 2025 - 11

Now is a crucial time to contact City Council!

On THURSDAY, June 12, City Council will vote to authorize City Manager Bret Bell to officially start talks with TIMA, Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS), the YMCA and others about the "Feasibility of Locating a Shared Use School and Community Facility Located in Tybee Island Memorial Park."

This is an early crucial step, and City Council needs to hear from us before Thursday to show our support.

Please find contact information and a sample email here. As always, we encourage you to personalize the email. Other things to add would be to thank Tony Plouge for taking the lead on advancing this resolution and asking for those who may not be in support at this stage to at least allow this first step to explore our options.

Click here for a link to the agenda and the full Resolution (Item #8).

You can also show up at the City Council meeting Thursday to voice your support!
